Electronic fluency devices - AAF software

This is a list of AAF software, for installation in a desktop computer, handheld computer or mobile phone. For an overview from the Summer 2007 Speaking Out, see Software for better speech.

To set up your PC for DAF/FAF software, you may find the instructions for 'Configuring sound card' on the ArtefactSoft website (below) useful.

Speech Monitor (external link)
Free DAF and FAF software by Rick Arenas. It also allows you to record your voice. A Windows Mobile version is planned.

DAF/FAF Assistant software runs on a PC. Pocket DAF/FAF Assistant is available for handheld computers (Windows Mobile). Free trial available.

DAF and FAF software for Desktop PC. Free trial available.
www.SpeechGym.com
DAF (not FAF) software for PC. There is also a version for handheld computer (Windows Mobile). Free trial available - limited to 5 mins DAF for mobile version.

Symbian DAF software for mobile phones, which the makers say has been tested to work on various Nokia models. Free trial available. Also on the Handago website.
