The Art of Communication: Lincoln 2012

15th BSA National Conference, 31 August - 2 September 2012

Lincoln View of Lincoln
The BSA Conference is back - organised by the Doncaster Stammering Association under the leadership of the inspirational Bob Adams/Jamie Harwood combo with specialist speech therapist Hilary Liddle.

The Conference theme will be all about the Art of Communication, stammering and artistic expression. Come along and let yourself be surprised!

Venue and programme

The Conference will be held at the University of Lincoln, an easy walk in less than ten minutes from Lincoln Station, and to the beautiful City Centre.

The Doncaster folk are hard at work putting together an attractive programme of keynote speeches and workshops. Not to mention the fun bits - the Bar will once again be open until midnight. There are rumours of a disco, karaoke and ceilidh, too.

Prices and booking

Residential visitors:
#Price per person: £145
The conference will start on Friday evening, and end on Sunday afternoon. £145 is the price of the full weekend conference as a residential visitor - including single en-suite room and full board, all workshops and lectures (though NOT the bar tab). A non-refundable deposit of £50 will guarantee your place (full payment is due by 10 August 2012). You can either
-print off a booking form (pdf); or
-book and pay online (residential visitors).

Day visitors:
Later in the year you can also book as day (non-residential) visitors for either Saturday or Sunday. The price will include lunch, all tea/coffee breaks and all workshop or lectures, but not the Saturday dinner. It will be possible to book dinner separately.
