Two ways to help BSA: career guidance project, and Jobcentre Plus

1. New career guidance project

BSA is developing new information to help careers and guidance advisors staff when working with a person who stammers. For our research, we need to talk to a range of people about their experiences with careers guidance. If you or someone you know would be willing to talk to BSA in confidence about their experience of careers guidance at any stage of school, further education, university or when changing career, please do get in touch with us.

All details will be kept strictly confidential and will not be given to anyone else without the person's consent.

Our information will need to show good practical examples - case studies - of how guidance staff can best help people who stammer to make good career choices. So, if you, a family member, or someone you know would be willing to share their experiences with us, please contact us for a confidential discussion.

2. Have jobcentres been a plus for you?

BSA is helping with a research project to examine communication barriers caused by telephone centres of JobCentre Plus. If you or someone you know has had any problems with contacting JobCentres, please contact BSA for a confidential discussion. All details will be kept strictly confidential and will not be given to anyone else without the person's consent.

The research is a national study being conducted by ECOTEC research and consulting for Jobcentre Plus and drawing on the experiences of a variety of organisations.

Thank you
