Cardiff Open Day Date for the diary: 20th September. The theme of the Open Day is '"Getting connected". More details to follow.

Stammering knowledge seminar Do you want to learn more about stammering and the work of the BSA?

30th Anniversary Gala London, Sunday 7th December 2008 - to celebrate BSA being 30 years old this year.

TV: Stammering on BBC's 'One Show' Tuesday 13th May, 7pm. We understand there will be a film following two adult students on a speech therapy (block modification) course at City Lit.

Courses for young people

Fluency Trust Residential Courses Intensive stammering therapy courses at activity centres - for children and adolescents.

A Person-Centred Focus on Engaging and Dealing with a Stammer David Woodall is proposing a week long residential group for adults who stammer.

Eighth Oxford Dysfluency Conference International conference on dysfluency. The theme is 'Integrating the Evidence: Scientist, Clinician and Client'. St. Catherine's College, Oxford. July.

The Lidcombe Programme of early stuttering intervention Workshop in Norwich presented by Mary Kingston and Sally Wynne. 13th & 14th October.

International

Nordic Stuttering Seminar August in Gothenburg, Sweden. Also open to people from the UK and other non-Scandinavian countries. The theme is 'See and be' or 'Be seen and heard'.
