New Speaking Circles Course - City Lit

Short evening class course in London. Starts 29th February.

For some time now, students who have attended our one day speaking circles have asked us if we could put on a short evening class course so that the growing confidence participants experience in one day can develop over a period of time. We are very pleased that we are now able to do this. Please see the details below.

For those of you who don't know about them, Speaking Circles are a powerful and unique way to work on becoming a more confident and effective speaker. They are highly relevant to anyone who wants to grow in confidence whilst giving presentations and equally useful for any other group communication situation such as meetings or interviews. They do not rely on teaching 'tricks' to help you change your style or cover up nerves but focus on helping you allow yourself to be yourself and find the 'real' you whilst talking to groups. We consistently receive outstanding feedback from participants and can highly recommend the course.

The other name for the speaking circles approach is 'transformational speaking' and in our experience people are often transformed by participating in one. We have run short courses like this before and have found that having more than just one day means that the approach can be developed. This time the tutor, Jenny Yeatman, plans to include some input on 'The Perfect Opening' and 'How to structure a truly transformational talk'.
