Gareth Gates - British Stammering Association

Gareth shot to fame on ITV's Pop Idol show where he was a finalist with Will Young. He released his debut single Unchained Melody in March 2002, aged 17, becoming the youngest male solo artist to enter the UK singles chart at No.1. His subsequent records included three more No. 1 hits.

In his first book, Right From The Start (2002), Gareth told the story of his life so far. His second book Talking Point (2003) reflected on how his life had moved on since the start of his music career.
