Based at Minnesota State University, Mankato in the USA, Judy Maginnis Kuster (Dept of Speech, Hearing and Rehabilitation Services) is "web weaver" of a huge site which is bursting with information, booklists, presentation papers, and much more.

Stuttering Foundation of America
Information for people who stammer, parents, teachers etc, including SFA leaflets and streaming videos to watch online. Also articles on recent research, and publications catalogue of books and DVDs. Speech pathologists are listed by State.
NHS Choices: Stammering
The NHS website includes a video on stammering and pages on 'Signs', 'Causes', 'Diagnosis', and 'Treatment'.
Stuttering Wikibook
Largely written by Thomas D. Kehoe, but as a Wiki all can contribute to it. Divided into broad headings of 'Scientific Research', 'Stuttering Treatments', and 'Living with Stuttering', with many sub-headings in each.
Communications Forum
Brings together organisations concerned with the needs of people with speech and language impairments. BSA is a member.
Communication Trust
Purpose is to raise awareness of the importance of speech, language and communication across the children's workforce, and enable practitioners to access the best training and expertise to support all children's communication needs. BSA is part of the Trust's 'Communication Consortium'.
Dominic Barker Trust
A charity called Dom's Fund, set up for research into stammering.
ELSA (European League of Stuttering Associations)
The website includes the newsletter "Voice of ELSA", information on ELSA meetings, European activities and disability and discrimination links.
Equalitytalk.org.uk
How the Equality Act 2010 applies to adult communication impairments, including stammering. It includes
employment, access to goods and services and post-18 education. Also, a personal website specifically on stammering is stammeringlaw.org.uk.
International Stuttering Association
The international umbrella organisation for stuttering associations. It produces the 'One Voice' newsletter. Also its website includes a Bill of Rights and Responsibilities for people who stutter, and links to stuttering newsletters from around the world.
International Fluency Association
Association bringing together speech therapists, but also researchers and people who stammer. Members receive the Journal of Fluency Disorders. It holds an International Congress of Fluency Disorders every three years.

Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children
The Michael Palin Centre in London is a centre of excellence in the UK for the treatment of children who stammer. This website of ARSC, the charity supporting the Centre, includes information for parents, children, teenagers, teachers and therapists.
National Stuttering Association, USA
Information on stuttering, support groups ("Chapters") and useful resources for them, and a selection from the monthly magazine 'Letting Go'.
No Miracle Cures: A Multifactoral Guide to Stuttering Therapy
Online book by Thomas David Kehoe. As well as therapy approaches, there are chapters on such things as psychological issues, famous people who stutter, and stuttering at work.
Passing Twice
"A Proud Network of Queer Stutterers and Their Allies." Passing Twice is an informal network of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender stutterers and their friends. Their activities include a quarterly newsletter and mailing lists.
Sentence Trouble
"At least 60% of young people in the youth justice system have communication needs." This website is aimed at anyone working with young people in and around the youth justice system. Also article Talking...a way out of trouble (pdf), from Magistrate magazine, May 2011.
Special Interest Group in Disorders of Fluency (SIG)
UK group of speech and language therapists with an interest in fluency disorders. The website includes selected articles from the group's newletter "signal".
#Stammering Support Centre, Leeds
Opened in April 2011, this Centre offers highly specialist speech and language therapy assessment and support for children, young people and adults who stammer.

Mark Irwin's website promotes the use of a new term 'Stuttered Speech Syndrome', to link the speech event of stuttering with the psychological condition of Social Anxiety Disorder. It also seeks to clarify the term 'covert stuttering'.

Equality and Human Rights Commission
Independent body set up by the Government to help eliminate discrimination and promote equality of opportunity. It took over from the Disability Rights Commission in October 2007. Site includes legal and campaign information.
Stammering and disability discrimination law
Website by Allan Tyrer on stammering and UK disability discrimination legislation (Equality Act 2010), including employment, access to goods and services and education. Also covers welfare/social security benefits.
Talking point
Information about speech, language and communication difficulties in children. It has separate parts directed at parents and professionals.
The veils of stuttering
"Science, theory, behaviour and metaphysics." The "veils" are the self images, projections, and lack of consciousness which, says Darrell Dodge, people who stammer use to (unconsciously) cope with the disorder, just as all humans use "veils".
