International Stuttering Association
The international umbrella organisation for stuttering associations. Its redeveloped website includes a Bill of Rights and Responsibilities for people who stutter, and links to stuttering newsletters from around the world.
North America
National Stuttering Association, USA
Information on stuttering, support groups ("Chapters") and useful resources for them, and a selection from 'Letting Go' the monthly magazine.
The Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA)
Including online newsletters and stuttering resources
South America
Brazilian Fluency Institute
Not a membership association, but this non-profit organisation has information in Brazilian Portuguese on stammering, as well as normal fluency and other fluency disorders.
AAT (Argentina Stuttering Association)
Website in Spanish. They are hosting the 9th World Congress for People who Stutter, in Buenos Aires in May 2011.
Asia
Turkish Stuttering Association (Türkiye Kekemelik Birliği)
The TKB's website is under development.
Indian Stammering Association
Includes details of self-help groups in India, articles, discussion group, and more. There is also a site at www.indiastammering.com
Nepal Stutters Association
Founded June 2003.
Pakistan Stammering Association
Support groups in Karachi and Islamabad, and 2008 conference planned.
Australia and New Zealand
Australian Speak Easy Association
Hosted the 2004 World Congress for People who Stutter.
New Zealand Speakeasy Association
The association's quarterly magazine, Airflow, is also available on the net.
Europe
ELSA (European League of Stuttering Associations)
The website includes the newsletter "Voice of ELSA", information on ELSA meetings, European activities and disability and discrimination links.
