BSA Christmas cracker concert in Kilmarnock

Picture of massed choir at the Christmas cracker concert.
Weeks of planning and rehearsals came together for hundreds of children in Kilmarnock who took centre stage in the Christmas cracker concert.
BSA now has a higher profile in Scotland after a joint Christmas Cracker fundraising concert with West Sound Radio in Kilmarnock on December 3, 2002.

More than 300 children from five local primary schools came together with soloists and Greenwood Academy brass band for a heart warming concert of carols and songs.

The Scottish education minister, Cathy Jamieson and the local MSP Margaret Jamieson both supported the concert in person and expressed a close interest in BSA's work.

Through helping to organise the concert, BSA raised almost £3000 for our work, and the concert also gave many local children a valuable opportunity to be involved in live music of their own making.

Congratulations to the children, teachers, West Sound staff, and BSA staff and trustees whose hard work produced a successful and very enjoyable concert.

If you would like a copy of the concert on DVD for £14, please contact BSA.
