MBE for Roberta Lees

Roberta LeesRoberta Lees, until recently head of the Speech and Language Therapy Department at Glasgow's Strathclyde University, has been awarded an MBE for services to education in this year's Birthday Honours List.

Roberta is one of the foremost UK researchers into stammering, and an active supporter of the BSA - she is currently working on the BSA Scotland Committee. On behalf of the BSA, many congratulations on an honour richly deserved!

Rachel Everard, BSA Chair - July 2005
