Third time lucky - Snowdon Challenge 2003

Now you've walked the Snowdon challenge: BSA member Nicola Lukman with Tony Caruana.

Having walked up Snowdon twice on August 24, we carried BSA buckets with us on the third walk, and with a lot of good humour and the admiration of many people, collected £200.

I did it three times, Nick Freer from Birmingham, did it twice and the other sane walkers did it just the once.

The team of eleven intrepid walkers raised a grand total of £1,200.

We started at 7am and finished at 8pm with people from Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham and Preston.

Next year we are doing it four times, so we want really fit and/or crazy people to take up the challenge, to do it 1, 2, 3 or 4 times in a day. Are you up to the challenge?
