Parents' project - SLT questionnaire
for speech and language therapists

The BSA is currently preparing a resource to help the parents of children who stammer to ensure that their child has the best opportunities possible at school. (More on Parents' Project...)

Therefore we would be very grateful for any general information that you are willing to provide about the experiences of your parents at the different stages of your child's schooling. You may complete the form without giving your contact details, but it would be very helpful for us if you could supply a phone number where we could contact you to follow up your answers in more detail. If you prefer, you can print off or email in the questionnaire as a Word document.

Please assess the knowledge of stammering of the education staff involved with your parents and select your choice.

Nursery    Very Good    Good    Satisfactory    Poor
Primary    Very Good    Good    Satisfactory    Poor
Secondary    Very Good    Good    Satisfactory    Poor

Please identify your main worry about the support in the education setting that your parents received for their child's stammer at each education stage.

What would you say would be the most helpful way for the BSA to support parents?

Contact details:

Please provide your name and contact telephone number if you are willing to be contacted by the BSA to discuss your views in more detail. We will not pass this to anyone outside BSA.
