BSA Scotland Walk and Talk

Trossachs Tryst
Trossachs Tryst
Callander, in the Trossachs (near Stirling)
15 - 17 June 2012

BSA Scotland is proud to announce the latest of our exciting and fun packed 'Walk n Talk' weekends! These weekends are always very popular and this year will be no different as we are visiting Callander in the Trossachs, a region of unsurpassed beauty that is close to Stirling and roughly 50 miles north of Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The Trossachs Tryst has been booked (see www.scottish-hostel.com for further details) and as usual there'll be lots of fresh air, fun and friendship, so why not come along? Everyone is very welcome, including friends, family and colleagues. You don't have to live in Scotland.

Cost

The weekend costs only £50 for 2 nights dinner, bed and breakfast (including a packed lunch for the munro climb) which I am sure you will agree is great value. There is also a discount if you raise sponsorship - see below.

All you need to bring is yourself and suitable clothing for outdoor activities.

Getting there

Callander is easily accessible by car and there are regular buses from Stirling via Glasgow and Edinburgh.

What we're doing

On Saturday, there will be an organised climb of a local Munro (route TBC), and participants are encouraged to raise sponsorship for BSA Scotland. Anyone raising sponsorship will receive a £15 discount on the cost of the weekend - making it an amazingly affordable £35.

Alternatively, there's a range of activities nearby including walking and cycle routes, horse riding and canoeing. The hostel itself is located close to the tourist town of Callander, hosts a cycle hire shop and is one mile from the eastern end of Loch Venacher.

On Sunday there's a chance to try out these activities or just chill out and take in the beautiful scenery.

Booking

To request a booking form, please email bsas-walkntalk@hotmail.co.uk or call 020 8983 1003.
