Speaking Out

Southwark cuts protest

Speech and Language Therapists from Southwark PCT in London presented a petition in March opposing cuts to services and jobs. 15 Unite members went to Richmond House, the Department of Health Headquarters. They were told no ministers were able to receive the petition, but approached the Health Secretary Andrew Lansley when he appeared from his Whitehall office.
