London self-help group Meets above a pub in N1, normally on the last Monday of each month. Near Old Street tube station.

East London/Essex self-help group (proposed) Meeting initially in Wanstead, but could be moved depending on where people travel from.

New speaking group in London A new London Toastmasters group is starting up specifically for people who stammer. The first meeting is Monday 23rd January 2012 in Paddington.

Covent Garden Speakers (pdf) Flyer for a Toastmasters breakfast meeting in central London run by someone who stammers (for anyone, stammer or not). However, there are numerous other local speakers groups - see Public Speaking /Presentations.

City Lit in London (2011/2012 prospectus) These highly recommended courses and workshops are run by a team of speech and language therapists who have all specialised in working with adults who stammer.

Michael Palin Centre for Stammering Children (external link) A centre of excellence in the UK for the treatment of children and teenagers.

City University, London Run courses (free of charge) for children and teenagers who stammer, in school holidays. Contact the BSA Information and Support Service.

What's happening where
