A Poem
Words

Words

Words smoothly spoken like the wind.

Suddenly hit a wall,

No way round.

Block

Words flowing like the gently rippling seas are,

Suddenly uneven and jerky,

As waves ever repeating.

Repetition

Words normal like a limp elastic band.

Suddenly get stretched until,

It twangs back to shape.

Prolongation

The silent wall.

The endless waves.

The tightening band.

All come together to form the unspeakable

STAMMER.
