Saturday workshop, 28th April. Develop your communication skills.
City Lit write: Do you want to develop your confidence and effectiveness as a communicator? If so, this one-day Saturday workshop on 28 April 2018 could be the course for you.
Here at City Lit, we believe that behaving more assertively can support other work you have done on your speech. Assertiveness is about being clear, authentic and honest and can help us to deal with some of the most tricky communication situations including making requests and saying no. On this course, you will explore your rights as a person including specific stammering rights, and will have plenty of opportunities to practise key assertiveness skills.
The course tutor, Richard Cave, is a highly experienced speech therapist. The course is taking place at City Lit, national centre in adult stammering therapy, in London.
