Event for uni students this Saturday

Are you a university student or do you work at a uni? Don't miss this event just for you in London this weekend.

Organised by the Stammerers Through University Consultancy (STUC), there's a conference on Saturday (19th January) all about the latest research, findings and stammering-related issues in higher education and finding a job after university.

The conference, called 'Silence on Campus - Making A Noise About Stammering', will feature talks on the following topics:

  • Stammering at university
  • What makes an effective network for staff and for students?
  • The importance of being a proactive student who stammers
  • Landing your first job
  • Thriving at work with a stammer
  • Additional labour? Higher education lecturers’ experiences of managing fluency and dysfluency
  • Stammering and inclusion in the rapidly changing context of universities
  • Universities: STUC in their ways?
