University/college students needed for Photovoice study

| 09.03.2017

Creative and fun research project to look at participants' experiences in  higher education institutions.

Emilie Wolfman writes: I am currently recruiting participants over the age of 18, attending college/university and who identify as facing challenges towards communication (stammers, stutters, anxiety). This will be a creative and fun project whereby participants will be asked to take a selection of 5-10 photos that depict their individual, specific experiences in  higher education institutions.

The photos will be used as a basis of discussion in an informal interview which will follow. This study is unique compared with other research methods and allows the participants to narrate their own experiences and voice their own opinions of college/university as individuals with challenges in communication.

Ideally participants will be based in London or near Brighton/Sussex as I am a student at the University of Sussex but I am based in London.  However, if you would like to take part but do not live near Brighton or London a Skype interview can be arranged!

If you are interested or know someone else who might be, please do not hesitate to get in touch - I am very happy to answer any questions you may have and to explain the Photovoice method in more detail!
